About our Bee's
Michael's on the Green, in joint effort with The Odyssey, keep a small bee farm consisting of 6 hives as of 2020. These Italian honey bees aide greatly in the cross pollination of the gardens and natural flora, which keeps the golf course looking beautiful and ingredients fresh. Each hive consists of over 60,000 bees during the summer months and produce a large amount of honey that finds its way into many of our culinary creations; try our Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich or the Bee’s Knees!
Keep your eyes to the right as you cross the bridge to the 12th hole, but please don't approach. While most honey bees around the hives don't have stingers, they don't appreciate guests coming to their home unannounced. 😉

Green Initiative
At Michael's on the Green, we take pride in the service we offer and the steps we take to provide a 'green' experience.
You won't see any plastic bags here at Michael's! Rather, we offer coolers to keep your beverages chilled while out on the course. These convenient re-usable coolers are the perfect way to ease our environmental footprint. All to-go orders are packed into recycled paper bags to aid in our green experience. To further the ‘green’ initiative, Michael's on the Green only uses locally grown produce and meats. |
